A couple of weekends ago, the kids and I went to Tennessee to visit Mom and go to the lake for some family fun. Aunt Donna and Uncle Bill invited us up to play for the weekend since the 4th fell in the middle of the week.
We each packed our own lunches, and we brought our own meat and a side dish for dinner. So after shopping for groceries and filling coolers, we headed up to Tims Ford.

Addison immediately kept asking when we could get in the water, and once we did - we only took a break for lunch! We spent all day floating, boating, and riding the jet ski. It was wonderful time to just relax with the family without something else to do!
These three girls are all within a month of each other in age, so they had a blast playing all day!
Once dinner time rolled around, the grills were fired up and so was the music. There is nothing I love more than a little acoustic music!

The next day we didn't get out until after lunch, and the kids got quite a surprise when this baby duck swam up on us. He/she was lost, and we kept him safe until we saw some other ducks return. The kids LOVED it!
This here is the shower, and it was amazing to come up from the lake and be able to shower and get clean!
Sunday Addison and Layne were together alone for the first time. Of course, Riley and Tate were there, but they were busy doing their big kid and baby thing. These two girls got along WONDERFULLY, and they played so hard together. Addison was super upset when we had to leave, and she can't wait to get back up there and play with Layne!
Sweet cousins! Your family sure does produce cute kiddos!
