Here's what's been going on since I took a vacation/blogging hiatus.

I have finally joined the rest of the world and got a iPhone. Yes, I had a Droid, and it was okay. I've been wanting the iPhone for a while now, so here it is, yo!

I spent the week with this joker while Addison was at VBS at her Grandmama's church. We missed her dearly, but this little guy definitely enjoyed and deserved some one on one time!

Addison was reunited with her best friend, Leighton, at church. It prompted some sadness when we couldn't grab lunch together afterward. We did get the chance to schedule a pool date with the Halls, and Addison and Leighton got to play for a little while at least.

I had a $20 credit to Tiny Prints and not a thing that I needed, so I ordered this little notebook for all my list making. I love it! In fact, I also had a code for a free photobook from Shutterfly, and I ordered that this week too. It is filled with pictures from our beach trip!

We went to see Andy play at Mafiozas again. This time I got to take Jonathan, Beth, and Clint. We had a blast listening to Andy play and catching up. We hadn't seen them since before the beach trip, so we had lots to chat about! I also got to see Pickers and Meredith, both of whom I haven't seen since our last Mafiozas outing.

Beach Vacation
A couple of weeks ago we went down to the beach for summer vacation. We went to Panama City Beach and to Gulf Shores. It was a long week, but we had a lot of fun. This will probably be the first of many posts about that visit!
Of course, you can't go to the beach without family pictures! We took pictures both places, and I'm please with the outcome!

Happenstance
You've come here on purpose. You come here to read about our little lives in Birmingham, and you are here because I want you to know about these little lives. I started a new blog because the old one has become a tainted public place. It isn't a place where I feel safe any more. Strangers have wanted pictures of my babies, and to me, strangers know too much about our lives.
I hope it is safer here because I LOVE blogging! I love to have an outlet for emotions and a journal of our lives. I enjoy looking back at how life has changed in a year. So, even though this is seemingly a new start. It isn't.
And you aren't here by happenstance - you are here because we welcome you into our lives.
So, you can still expect the same ole same ole from me, but I won't be doing any official link ups. I also ask that all my blogging friends not to link me to your blogs or websites. Thanks for wanting to send us love though!
The big question would be - why didn't you just make your other blog private? My answer would be that it seems as though it is a hastle for my readers to have to log-in everytime, and I want your reading to be easy!
So - hope you add this new site to your favorites, and come visit like you used to!
Now with the title of the blog - Not Wandering Lost
One of my favorite quotes is a Tolkien quote: "Not all who wander are lost." I find this appropriate mostly because spiritually we are not lost! Praise be to Jesus for His great sacrifice for us. We are also let by strong Christian friends and family, and they keep us from getting lost. We may wander around this world and do fun and crazy things, but we are not lost!
